Hands for Bhutan Initiative is pleased to invite Canberra based Bhutanese community members for an accredited training in standard mental health first aid with support from Compass Seminars - Australia's leading provider of Mental Health Training and Resources for the Education, Health and Social Service Sectors. Upon completion, the participants will receive certificates of accreditation. The training is provided free of cost and with the objective of raising literacy, awareness and support for mental health within our community.

The training dates are November 21-22, 2022. Venue: Australian Croatian Club, 68 McCaughey St, Turner, ACT 2612. The training will be completed in two days and the session time will be 9:30am to 4:30pm. Participants will need to attend both days in full to receive an accredited certificate. All participants will receive the Mental Health First Aid manual.

This is a great opportunity to come together and collectively raise awareness and critical understanding of mental health for our community. We are looking forward to an engaging program with our community.
